Can I book room in Tenerife for 1 person and stay 2 persons?

Can I book room in Tenerife for 1 person and stay 2 persons?

Because i dont see point paying extra just for idea that there is second person with me. In room it is 2 beds anyway if i was alone second bed will be not used. So why pay extra just for mentioning second person?

Have anyone tryed to book 1 room fro one person and stay there with your loved one?

this way you could save i think from £150 to more.

Want to know just if someone tryed that.

Thx

If you are asking if it is possible it technically is, so long as the place you are staying at is large enough that they will not notice another person staying there. If it is a small place, you are likely to get an angry response and ultimately charged more on penalty of otherwise being kicked out immediately.

Also, if you gave a credit card number to place a reservation, the place you are staying at will charge you for the second person if they find out.

Normally the price for each night includes breakfast, so there you have a difference. Plus a double set of sheets, towels, amenities... So there's a reason why you are charged for 2 people.

Make sure what the difference in price is for a double room compared to one. I really don' think it's worth the effort and if you get caught (don't think the hotel staff is so dumb) you'll be charged full price, instead of having the chance of a good offer for a double room. Even if it's just one person you don't pay half the price for a double room, did you know that?
