A Question About Ski Cross?
Does anyone know why there were no American women in the ski cross event today? Since it is in the freestyle category I was expecting to see at least a few Americans in the event. Thanks!

Because they were not good enough.

there is an excellent distinction. X-u . s . a . kit may well be surprisingly volatile on downhill terrain; downhill kit may well be surprisingly ineffective on x-u . s . a . terrain. pass-u . s . a . skis are thinner and lighter than their downhill opposite numbers. The bindings are straightforward and have no launch for once you fall. The boots are no longer made up of plastic and basically the toe of the boot clicks into the binding. this helps you to enhance your heel at the same time as x-u . s . a . snowboarding, that's significant for x-u . s . a . stream. there is not any longer that lots of a distinction in poles to boot that x-u . s . a . ones are lighter as they do no longer might desire to be everywhere close to as sturdy. pass-u . s . a . ski kit is a lot low-value than downhill. you may desire to pass to a precise, actual shop to purchase kit so as which you get what's superb suitable for you (in line with ability, top, weight, terrain). you will get the two waxed or unwaxed skis. i've got continually used un-waxed with great fulfillment on numerous terrain (in simple terms no longer racing), yet some human beings think of i'm loopy. (in case you have un-waxed, WD40 is your chum in heat temperatures--in simple terms spray some on the backside.)
