Vomit in the morning if less than 10 hours of sleep.?
I need at least 10 hours of sleep to wake up feeling normal. Less than 10, I WILL vomit in the morning. I am not pregnant, this has been going on for years. If I get enough sleep I do not wake up with any nausea at all, but less than 10 hours it is pretty likely (8 or fewer it is guaranteed.)
Any ideas? This is getting extremely debilitating, but I do not have insurance so this is pretty much for my own curiosity, I can't see a doctor for it anyway.
Changing my diet, that's a little vague, don't you think? My diet has changed a few times over the past few years as I became more healthy and started having to eliminate some ingredients due to stomach issues, but even when I am otherwise perfectly healthy and not bothered by stomach ailments-- if I can't guarantee 8 hours of sleep, I can't go to bed or I won't be able to get to work in the morning. I will puke in the morning and feel nauseous the rest of the day.
I have had every stomach test known to man and they found nothing. I have had my stomach, intestines, esophagus, and gall bladder all checked specifically, plus a full abdominal ultrasound. Everything was immaculate and the doctor said it was just stress. It's not.
And yeah, we all need to go to the doctor sometimes for our safety, but a medical test costs several thousand dollars. If I could afford that I could afford insurance. ;)

Honestly it's probably not the sleep thats doing it, you probably have a stomach issue. The doctor can examine and determine where to go from there. I realize you don't have health insurance, but sometimes your just have to go for your own safety and well-being. It is not healthy at all to throw up as constant as it sounds like you are. It can severely ruin your digestive tract. Best of wishes

It could be gastritis or gastroenteritis, both of which may be caused by a number of things. As illustrated by this other Q&A, it is not all that uncommon. http://www.steadyhealth.com/What_causes_morning_na...
