The Argyle Tavern is no longer in Kings Cross.
The El Alamein Fountain was commissioned as a memorial to soldiers who died in 1942 during the Second World War in two battles at El Alamein, Egypt...so it's there to stay.

the fountain is there. every bloody drunk has a photo in it. its become a culture if you visit kingcross lol
