how do i make a administrator account?

their is one administrator account hidden, until you activate it.

You can use a password reset disk, if you can write/burn CD's.

You need a

-CD Burner

-1 blank CD

-MagicISO Trial

You download from this site

All the way on the bottom, it says download. Select the first .zip download.

Download that

Then you have a .iso file.

You need to open that with MagicISO and burn that to a CD

Then shut off the computer, put in the CD right away! and wait for the CD to boot up.

Then you can actually select your account and make it Administrator, right from the CD.

It's actually difficult because requires a few steps like typing code, and selecting what you want to do.

Then you get to the point where you can do anything

Type your username

Press a number - the one that upgrades your account

It's difficult to explain.

All the other answers are wrong because a standard account cannot modify or add an account. You must be administrator to do that!

Go to the start menu , or the round circle if you use vista or 7

Go to control panel

Go to add or remove user accounts

Click on the user account you would like to edit

Go to change the account type

Click administrator

Click change account type and your done!
