How safe is Malaysia road ?
Just curious to know, I will be driving to Penang soon.

Roads to / in Penang are quite safe and smooth. Just be aware of small potholes here and there on heavily-used roads, usually caused by big lorries. Nothing serious if you're driving a car though.

Should be quite safe if you take the common precautions.
Very important, try not to speed if you are not used to or familiar with the roads. there may be potholes (as mentioned above) that you can avoid if you keep within the speed limit and is attentive enough.
if you are not overtaking, keep to the left lane.
on open stretches of road where there's little trees on either side of the road, look out for the wind sock. if the wind sock shows that there's strong winds, slow down too.

It is very safe but reckless drivers will turned the road F1 arena could joepardise other road user.

If you use it properly, and you are properly trained to drive, Malaysian roads are of International standards, and are one of the safest in the world......
