That's a good question, I don't know how to answer it either.. There are so many ways you can look at it. First you have to think about what's important in your eyes. I think it's very subjective, every person finds other things important so I can't really answer your question, but I'm going to put some of my thoughts down :)

For me, humans are important because of the human interaction everybody needs. We all need human contact, to feel loved, everybody needs to talk to other people (social contact), to feel secure. It's actually proven that a baby who doesn't get any affection can't survive.

One specific thing about humans is also important, and that's that humans are diverse. We couldn't live in a world with people who are all the same. We need teachers, butchers, ... to be able to do our daily activities.

I can't think of anything else at the moment. I'm actually kind of stunned right now, that question never came up to my mind, now you mentioned it and I really don't know how to answer it..

My opinion is irrelevant, by that I mean that based off of my own personal experiences in life, my answer may never be the same as what you conclude. You are the by-product of your own sense of self. The world around you functions only to the degree that you understand it to function. I think that you already have the answer, but you have yet to accept it. If my two cents does matter to you though, I say judge the world objectively and person by person. There are a lot of shades of gray between black and white. There are also many "good" and many "bad" folks in the world but don't forget the rest of us who are neither saints or sinners.

We are important to God. He created us for fellowship with him but most people are unaware of this and are ignoring him, so if they keep on this way, they will be eternally separated from God which is the worst thing that could happen to anyone.

Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. The prayer of the wicked is an abomination to God, but you are able to get through to God by repenting sincerely and asking Jesus to come into your heart and life and be your Savior and Lord. Then start reading the Bible and go to a Full Gospel church. God bless you and keep you!
