Who has had medical treatment in a country outside of America?
I'm really talking about industrialized countries. I've had amazing experiences with medical and dental in Australia, the UK, France, Singapore and Thailand. Just as good or better than what I have in America. Care in these countries was either minimal or free.
Private dental care in the UK is worldclass.

Almost every industrialized country outside of the US has better health care availability and coverage.
We are the only country that does not have some sort of universal health care.

My son was born in South Korea. His birth had a minor complication which required moving to a larger hospital plus a 4-day inpatient stay. The total cost for both healthcare facilities, plus the 4-day inpatient stay, plus the medication, plus the taxi to and from the hospital... $600 American under the national insurance plan.

of course care is over there is free and cheap because there isnt 300 MILLION people living in those countries! also they dont have almost 30 million illegal immigrants just sitting, not working and expecting the United Staes taxpayers to pay everything for them. Dont get me wrong, France has got a bad problem with the Algerian immigration and the UK has got problems with Pakis and Turks

I have had medical treatment while in Germany and France. The ailments were minor but the treatment was excellent and very professional.

My wife had to have surgery on her uterus. We priced it here in the U.S.: $27,000 for surgery and a one-night hospital stay.
She was going to be working in Italy in a few months, so we just waited until she traveled there. She had the same procedure done. No problems. Cost: $9000.
