In my oppinion, it has to be Gaga! <3 Rihanna just copies Gaga, and Lady Gaga has more talent. Rihanna's music is ok, but I dislike some of her songs.

and rihanna is a BIG copycat, just watch lady gaga's paparazzi's video at the end she's dressed in a mickey mouse themed clothes and sunglasses and watch rihanna's Hard video has her dressed in a mickey mouse theme too. and Paparazzi is older so rihannah's the copycat.
rihannah has her year when umbrella came out, but since what happened with chris brown last february, not so much

of course Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga is better in every department and she also inspires Rihanna.
Rihanna told MTV news about Lady Gaga two months ago that "She has a very bold, fearless image," "I have to say, I have so much respect for original artists and artists who aren't afraid to do what they want to do," Rihanna said. "That's what I respect most, so she's awesome."
