Evolutionists: If men evolved from apes, why have apes stop evolving?

We didn't evolve from apes, but from another species of the ape family. We both have a common ancester. We evolved, they didn't. Why don't you educate yourself before asking questions like this.

we share a common ancestor. we didnt evolve from apes. nor did we "evolve faster than them" or "we evolved and they didnt" as others have said. there are many ways for a species to seperate into several branches, the most prominant of which is geographic isolation. IE at one point there were multiple populations of this common ancester, these populations seperated so that they did not interbreed with one another and thusly they evolved seperately into 2 different species based on the mutations and environmental requirements placed upon those populations.

also i would add that evolution is not necessarily in contrast to the judaeo-christian bible or the garden of eden story. in fact, if you really wanted to interpret it in such a way you could say that the garden of eden is a parable for evolution. by this reading it becomes the ultimate "ignorance is bliss" story, whereby humanity exits a metaphorical eden by the long process of evolving to more advanced brains that understand death and suffering. the apple in this reading becomes the capability of women in our population to choose a mate, thereby stearing evolution in the direction it has gone. supposing you decided to believe this: A. you would stop looking like an idiot who doesnt understand science and B. you might come to a better more complete understanding of the bible as an interesting collection of stories, some historical acounts, but many of which are really only logically to be taken as parables.

Evolutionists don't exist, only people who learn about and acknowledge evolution (presuming that is what you mean) Tip: Put your bible (or -insert Holy Fairy Tale collection for your religion-) aside and read some real books, something about evolution for instance. If you did that, you would know that: - Evolution is fact - In biological terms, we ARE monkeys - today's monkeys and humans have the same ancestors

We evolved from common ancestor,,evolution takes a very long time and although we won`t see anything in a lifetime humans are still evolving,,we are taller then we were thousands of years ago for example,,apes and monkeys may have reached their evolutionary zenith,we adapt to or surroundings,,it`s more to do with natural selection,those who adapt survive,,Neanderthal man died out because he couldn`t evolve to the new surroundings of the Ice Age,,

Simple proof of adaption and evolution are (for example) Eskimos have small noses and ear lobes to combat the freezing temperatures,these extremities would easily freeze,,those who live in the Andes have thicker blood to combat the thinner air and less oxigen,people who live in Africa are black to combat the strength of the Sun and white people are white to soak up more of the Sun in the colder northern climbs,,Science is not wrong,,it can only tell the truth,

Well some species elvolve faster then others. Our evolution started with our bodys then our minds from eating ticks to starting fire to flying to making microtechnowledgy. No man bea.... I meam a sasquachian entity has not been cought yet just beacuse its a hard fact. If sasquach was found would you belive in evolution. both sides have their arguments just gotta pick and chooese.

what if apes have been seen walking upright and using sticks as spears. I don't remember Where I read it but it has been seen.
