How to get rid of tooth pain?

Right now, I'm in a lot of pain on the left upper jaw. It seems to be going from my jaw up to my nose then to my eye. I've tried everything and I can't get into the dentist until monday to get it taken care of. What can I do. I've been rubbing or gel on it all day and I've taken some Motrin already. Any advice right now, is MORE then welcome.

Thanks

    Try soma,

Soma (generic name: Carisoprodol; brand names: Sanoma / Carisoma) is a muscle relaxant used to treat pain caused by muscle spasms.

It is indicated as an adjunct to rest, physical therapy, and other measures for the relief of discomfort associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions in patients 12 years of age and above.

Soma works to relax the muscles by blocking pain messages sent to the brain. The ingredient Carisoprodol is a pain reliever that changes the way a body senses pain. The onset of action is rapid and lasts four to six hours.

Soma is useful against various types of pain (whether or not related to muscle spasm).

Soma may be prescribed for other uses; ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

If the remedies the others are recommending work, great. But if the pain is radiating to other parts of your face, you may not make it until Monday. If it's abscessing, that's an emergency. Call the dentist and let him know how bad it is. He may well fit you in today. At the very least, ask for a prescription for an antibiotic and get his advice on which pain relief med to take.

You probably won't want to hear this but you need to get them taken out. If you don't do it now and wait until your 30s, 40s or later you will regret it. I had mine taken out in my 40s and I wish I wouldn't have waited so long. It's harder when you are older. Almost everyone ends up having to get them pulled because they cause so many problems. Please take out a loan to have them pulled; you will not regret it, and it will save you a lot of pain and suffering down the road. Also get the bottom ones taken out to...it's best to have them all done at the same time. That's what I did. Once you go through it you don't want to have to go through it again, that's why have them all done at once. It's better to do it before they come through. It heals better and quicker.
