Is there a map app out there for a cell phone that doesn't require the use of the internet?
I have a LG Xenon and I would like to have a map application (of Southern California) that I could use just like a Thomas Guide map. I don't need to know my GPS location, I just want to have access to a map, as if I had a map book or fold out map. Something I can download to my computer and transfer to my phone's SD card.

On my iPhone i Have a Google Maps application, and when i am not connection to the internet i can look at the Map and zoom in and out on it, But cant search my location or search a place.

get an image of google earth and save it as an image then put it on your phone
