Where is the fuel pressure check for a 2.7L V6 2000 Dodge Intrepid?

Got a Dodge Intrepid with the 2.7L V6 - where is the fuel pressure regulator and how do you check the fuel pressure?

I looked this beast over for about 15 minutes and I didn't even see any fuel lines - maybe I had a brain fart but I figured someone out there has some experience with these vehicles.

Thanks.

The test port is below the throttle body and is a pain to get to, I found it easier to put the car up on a hoist and disconnect the fuel line by the tank and put an inline pressure test adapter there.

As stated above the regulator is part of the in tank fuel pump module.

you won't "see" the muffler unless it has a tip attached to it and it sits just below the rear valance. i personally would not put any series flowmaster on that car. it will sound obnoxious. unless of course, you're after that sound. look into something mellower. even universal straight-thru stainless mufflers (only with an oval body) will sound better and qieter than a flowmaster. just changing the muffler won't give you 30hp. maybe 5-8 TOPS if any at all. you would need to change the whole exhaust system to a bigger diameter pipe, and some hi-flo cats to make some power. and some type of open element air filter would help as well. then get a "chip" for the ecu. you won't be at 230, but close.

its in the tank with the pump assembly on it,there's a valve on the fuel rail that you can check the pressure with,it should be running at about 50- 55 pounds at normal idle or at running condition,if it varies a little this is normal that's the regulator releasing the pressure on it some,i think you already knew some of this though, good luck.
