Could the weird climate and catastrophes all over the world have anything to do with the end coming?

taking God out of lives and governments doesn't help either

Sorry, but no. There are actually fewer destructive weather events now then there have been in the past. The reason it may seem like there are more is because of widespread TV coverage and 24 hour rolling news combined with a greater propensity to live in vulnerable locations such as the littoral zone (i.e. the coast).

I really don't believe in AGW or any other of the popular fin de siècle movements such as survivalism or peak oil, etc. The world is getting better for just about every single country - so cheer up!

  • The weird climate and catastrophes all over the world have nothing to do with "the end" coming because the end is not coming. There is no scientific data saying the world will end in 2012 or any time in our era.

The end or the world was expected shortly after Jesus died (read what he allegedly said) and at regular intervals since. And the most god-fearing governments, from the Spain of the Inquisition to present-day Iran, do NOT inspire confidence.
