Cats should never be fed "people" food. Many of our foods have chemicals in them that are toxic to cats.......as well as having too much fat & spices ( especially bacon! ).

If you want to feed him BOILED, PLAIN ( no spices of any kind ) CHICKEN.....that won't hurt him, and cats love boiled chicken.......but fried meat ( even chicken ) is NOT good for them.

Once your cat "gets a taste" of human food, he may not want to eat "cat" food.......and will get sick because of missing the taurine, etc that cat food is formulated with.

So, for the continued good health of your cat.......PLEASE stop feeding him "people" food.

    Good luck.

It's not the best steady diet. Cats need a certain amount of certain vitamins/minerals. Food specifically created just for cats (aka, cat food) has all these things that cats need to stay healthy in it. You won't be sure your cat is getting all the nutrients it needs by feeding it table scraps. A little as a treat occasionally is fine but not as a steady diet unless you make your own cat food--balance it out by adding calcium and taurine and whatever else cats need. You also probably don't want your cat to start begging at meal times--it's annoying to anyone not used to it and can be embarrassing if you invite guests over and your cat is pestering them or getting on the table to eat at meal times. Bacon isn't real good for cats since it has so many additives and preservatives in it.

Bacon and steak No, but things like chicken is fine as a treat only. You don't want him getting to used to human food and being fussy with the cat food.

I love how people associated love with food, that's why there are so many over weight pets out there because they "love" them so much.

When you have a cooked dinner and have things like chicken, pork, lamb and beef then give him some as it is relatively healthy. Not fatty bacon, just because he eats it doesn't mean he should and the same applies to us.

Bacon is terrible for humans to eat but even worse for our tiny pets...

some cats have beef allergies, chicken is okay.. never feed fish..

never give human food with gravy...

never give too much human food that they dont eat cat food and get the vitamins and minerals they need from that.

People food isn't really very good for a pet but if you really want to feed it people food only feed it small amounts but at the end of the day if you don't feed it people food it will be better for your beloved pet =D

I am a 55 year old ldy and have had cats since early childhood. Cats love raw meat and it is part of their natural diet. (THink mice birds etc). Cats also enjoy milk and cheese though these should only be given moderately - Water is better for them. One of my cats had Sunday lunch with us each week (he didnt like yorkshire puddings) and would also eat leftover chips and pasta by choice. He also used to have a buffet tea with us having his own plate with prawns, ham and pate. Off course he was fed normal cat ood as well bur he loved being part of the family as much as we loved him.

Of course. This is what cats eat in the wild. It is healthy and honestly, not all cat food is good for cats. Whoever says cat don't eat these things should wake up.

i don't see why not because even though people say you shouldn't - it will be okay as long as you don't give him to much but if he pucks it back up i'd advise you not to , my mum fed her cat thing s like this to her cat and it lived until it was 25 years old ( human years ) , and i feed my rabbit my bacon rasher crisps if she sat next to me because she loves them and she has never pucked up or changed her behavior so i think he will be fine , and i say it's okay to feed him bacon etc. .
