Should I be worried ?

Ok. Well I gave my dog a bath yesterday. And I was cleaning (or at least trying to) out her ears. And I noticed a ball of like skin and tissue about the size of a blueberry attached to the inside of her ear. I'm just a little concerned. Is this just an example of pigmantation? Please help (:

Update:

It is raised. It is like an actual BALL of skin just attatched to her ear.

Yes, I believe it is most likely that this is just natural pigmentation on your dog. However, for your own piece of mind and the health and safety of your beloved dog, I strongly encourage that you take her to her vet to have a professional look at it.

P.S. If you touch it and rub it and the dog doesn't wimper or complain in any way, it is more likely that it is just pigmentation. If it is not raised, it is more likely that it is just pigmentation. Have it checked though! I hope your doggie is okay!

    Sincerely,

This name tells it all. Ear mites are extremely common. Greater than 50% of dogs, cats and fox are carriers of ear mites. Most infestations are subclinical and inapparent, but secondary bacterial and fungal infections can cause a nasty external ear canal infection and much irritation and discomfort for your pet. That is why proper grooming is very important to prevent such occurrence.

I would get it checked out by a vet just to be on the safe side

Did you try to remove it? It could be a tick, they tend to go for the ear area.

If it is just attached at a tiny point at the tip - Its a tick.

It's probably a mole of some sort, but definitely have it checked out, just in case.
