what to said to a good friend that is dieing?

Nothing. Just be with him.

I don't think I would need to be constantly reminded that I am dying but just spend my last days being happy and fulfilling all my wishes. Dying is a natural phenomenon, there is no need to fuss.

my friend was told he had eight months to live He lived eight years. I myself was diagnosed with leukemia that was years ago. I don't feel much different. I went on with my friend doing all the things we normally did laughed, argued and all the things friends normally do. Let him know you care just by being there. I ignored that he was dieing so I could still enjoy him as a friend and not a dieing friend. He never talked much about dieing just about the medications and treatments he had. My father was the same he seemed to like to talk about his treatments. I never brought these up remember I didn't want to think of them. Another friend asked me what I was going to do when he died in front of him. I told her I will deal with that till the time comes. She pushed me on the topic till I broke down and cried. This was wrong to do. Like I said there is a time for grieving and not until. Enjoy him or her now grieve when it becomes time too. Now is for joy and sharing and love. Even hope. Pray for your friend. look up to see if diet might help his kind of cancer. I have heard of micro biotic diets curing some form of cancer. And if they got him on chemo therapy see to it that he gets marijuana. This is because it helps with appetite and help them hold down the food. More people die from starvation in chemo then the cancer they have because they have no appetite and can't hold food down.

Just be his friend and don't bring up death unless he does. I don't want to be reminded I am dieing. I remember when I was in the hospital and people kept asking me that visited how I was feeling. I kept on getting reminded that I was sick and felt fine till they said that.

Wow. I'm sorry you are going to be losing your friend. I guess I would talk about the stuff we always talked about. Met a new girl, tell him. Saw something stupid on TV? Talk about it. He wants your company and he's scared. Be there for him even if you just sit and say nothing.
