Why is the Gold medal hockey game blacked-out in my area?

I live in Oklahoma, it's not like I could attend the game in person.

    weird, maybe you have to pay for it, but you should have to.

    you could always watch it online if you can't see it, either

    at NBC or on http://www.ctvolympics.ca/video/CTV/index.html

    That's horrible. I have heard that NBC will only allow the game to be streamed if you have certain cable providers, but don't know for sure.
