HELP: Dog Breathing Problems ?

I have a 67 pound , Pit Bull terrier -Boxer mix ... he is VERY friendly and no behavior problems at all ...

However; I've noticed the last few nights that when he goes to sleep at night ... his breathing gets extremely fast paced ... he is like gasping for air and he pants and pants ....

Does anyone know what could be causing this problem ?

NOTE: He appears to breath very regular and normal when he is awake and moving around etc ...

Call your vet and ask him. If there is somthing wrong with him, we cannot help him and you cannot help him either. Only your vet can figure out what is wrong because he knows the dog better than anyone on Y!A.
