How much time does it take for the package to reach the ground in s?

A helicopter is ascending vertically with a speed of 5.90 m/s. At a height of 118 m above the Earth, a package is dropped from a window. The package's initial speed equals the helicopter's, Can you give me the equation for this as well as the answer?

    You use this Equation of motion:

    S = Si +Vi(T) + (1/2)aT^2

    -118= 0 + 5.9(T) - 4.9T^2

    solving for T,

    T=5.55s
