I will ask this again, since so many did not answer or understand... What Book have you read?

I have just read the Bible and corresponding books. I never studied in detail the proof that God exists or that those things happened. I just believed those things were true because it was the word of God, the word God gave us out of his love and faithfulness. I did study the book of Genesis for 9 months some years ago and still remember lots. It was a special study like a Bible school but in the churches, and very good. I believe in the truth and God gave it to us. God cannot lie.

The books written back then don't have any merit because they weren't based on science. Even if God does exist the bible is not evidence because it is not based on science. We would have no way of knowing if god really did appear and tell people to write the bible because it could have easily been made up.

"If the Bible is not true, then why isn't there another book that reflects the Ancient World or the earth when it began to let future generations know how the world evolved to where it is today?"

People had no idea how the earth began then, which makes your argument illogical. Evolution occurred meaning the first living things were bacteria , and after million of year humans were formed.

If god does exist the bible is still not evidence because it doesn't prove his existence.

There are many books to read. The trouble with books is that they are written by a human, with their own slant on what happened at any given time. Ask a police officer about statements from witness's. A lot of books in the bible were written in Greek and over the years translated from one language to another. Have you ever play a game called chinese whispers?

I have read books from Eric von Daniken's was "God an Astronaut" to Ancient mythology to the bible and the book of Mormon and just about every other book I found interesting .

Why not try books on ancient believes of different people from around the world. It might surprise you to find the believes are very similar. Go to your local library and see what they have

There are other documented books from ancient Palestine as well as the accounts of many other cultures, like ancient Greece, Rome, Persia, etc. Unfortunately most of the ancient documents were destroyed when the Library at Alexandria was burnt to the ground.

You ask why the things we are only now discovering and understanding were not written about centuries ago: It's called "time".

The Norse Eddas are so accurate that one expedition followed their directions and discovered the remains of a Norse settlement on the North American continent. Do you accept that that proves the existence of Odin?
