    A gigabyte consists of 1024MB, and a MB consists of 1024KB, so the GB consists of 1024X1024 KB =1048576

    if u means Giga then it is 1000 Mega(1Mega is 1000 Kilo).

    but in computer, it is used Kibibyte,Mebibyte, Gibibyte,Tebibyte,etc...

    1 KB = 1024 bytes (2^10 bytes)

    1 MB = 1024 KB (2^20 bytes)

    1 GB = 1024 MB (2^30 bytes)

    But still most of the people use kilo, mega, giga,etc instead of kibi,mebi,gibi,.. Because everyone teaches that way.

    if by Gig you mean GB it is 1024x1024 which = 1,048,576

    don't confuse kB with kb. 1kB = 8 kb

    about a million

    KB = 1000 or 1024

    MB = 1000 or 1024 * KB

    GB = 1000 or 1024 * MB

    1000 kb per meg.

    1000 megs per gig.

    Do the math.

    1024 * 1024 = 1,048,576

    1024KB=1MB and 1024MB=1GB. Therefore 1GB = 1,048,576KB
