Knoppix 6.2: networking with live DVD?
Hello,
I am running Knoppix 6.2 live DVD but am unable to display a web page.
I am apparently getting IP thru dhcp and PING works alright on the local area network. However the web browser does not show the web page.It says host not found or something like that.
Is is possible that the IP address I am getting is not from my Server?
Could you give me a tip to either solve or further troubleshoot this issue?
I'd really be thankful.

If ping is working on the local system then the IP is correct for the local system. Try ping to the ROUTER address! Then try ping to an internet address IP.. like yahoo.com try 69.147.114.224 that that works (you can even enter that in your browser to see if you get a page) your issue is with the DNS server IP's not getting correct information.
