I thought they fixed this a few days ago!

Well Americans are allowed to post questions in the Ireland/UK sections, nothing to fix.

You probably are clicking on "show me another" which even if you set your preference to UK/Ireland questions only takes you away from that and into the "all English questions" there you find questions posted by American, Canadian and even Australian Y!A users.

Hmmm, does your father own the UK and Ireland Yahoo Answers Page?

It was fixed last week after it was showing up all English questions even though had it set to Uk/Ireland only questions..must be another glitch...

I know I intentionally posted in the UK Ireland page. Sorry if it is irritating. I was trying to find out specific information about the UK and Ireland because I intend to move there soon. Some of us Americans are just as annoyed with America as you are.

I don't know if those are the type of questions you are referring to, or if there are just random American questions mixed in with your default page.

    Either way, my apologies.

Trust me I'm a Dr has it right. Just switch your preferences. There's no harm in asking questions - it's a travel section and tourists do tend to come from the US. what would be the point of an all Irish travel section for Ireland?

  • I was wondering what was up with that. I just went on here to see if I could pick out any words not used in America. Then I noticed most of the questions were American.

Perhaps the Americans are very Inquisitive.

St. Patrick's Day increases the number of questions. Most of them have been tourist related and sensible though so I don't see anything about it that needs to be fixed.

I find it really annoying actually.

Seems to be nearly all US kids asking on there now.

Hope they don't intend to keep it like this.
