A tablet??? A tablet of what??? There simply isn't enough information to arrive at an answer. Many medicinal tablets contain a tiny amount of some medication mixed with a binder like starch. The pH of the solution would make little difference in the rate at which the starch comes apart.

If it were a tablet of some antacid, for instance, which is mostly a carbonate compound, then raising the pH (making it more basic) would probably decrease the rate of reaction.
