Am I doing enought to be green?
I want to put a windmill to produce electricity on the roof of my house, put solar panels on the blades and use the windmill to pump water from my well. Then I'd use the water to run my hydroelectric plant.
Is that green enough or should I use the water to irrigate my corn field so I can make ethanol for my hybrid car?

That's great! except the wires from your solar cells are going to tangle up in your wind turbine and ethanol is way more efficient when you drink it.

I am going to assume that your questions are theoretical. Have you researched the answers to any of your questions?
1. Solar panels would cause an imbalance on the blades of a windmill, and would create drag as well. The blades would not spin as efficiently, if they could spin at all.
2. the amount of water needed for hydroelectricity would dwarf the amount procured from a well. Unless you want to collapse the ground you live on by completely draining the aquifer.
3. The reason I assume your questions are theoretical (at best) is that most American corn farmers are already selling at least some of their crop to ethanol companies. So "your" corn field is likely to be hypothetical.
Thanks for playing. Have a nice day.

You're not doing enough to cancel out how much environment I plan on destroying. I litter at least 2x a day, drive a S.U.V, and swerve to hit endangered wildlife on the highway. Good Luck
