We will be in Paris for a few days at the end of April, and would like to buy food at a fresh food market.?

We will be staying near the corner of Montparnasse and Raspail Blvds. Is there anything near here which is good to go to? If not, where are the markets?

Thanks

There is also an open air market on the Boulevard Raspail every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. The market stretches along the Boulevard between Rue de Rennes and Rue de Cherche-Midi, just a short walk from where you're staying. But, if you happen to miss the market, there are plenty of speciality fresh food shops all over Paris.

I love the Rue Mouffetard market. It's in the 5th arrondissement. It has a permanent open air market. The nearest metro is Place Monge. There are lots of nice cafes and restaurants on the road as well, it's a nice place for breakfast or Sunday brunch.

There are open air markets all over the place in Paris, so you definitely will find something. Also, Europeans especially the Parisians walk EVERYWHERE- so be prepared to do a lot of walking.

    Enjoy the cuisine! Bon appetit!
