Why arent SOME of my podcasts syncing to my ipod 3g?
I have some podcasts subscriptions that will sync to my ipod just fine (Such at the G4TV xplay podcast or the Best of Youtube Podcast)
However there are some podcasts that will not transfer to my computer? (such as college humor, 4player podcast, or the Ricky Gervais podcast.)
Before you start suggesting obvious answers let me show you my settings.
-Ipod firmware 3.1.3. Ipod Touch 3G (8GB)
-Settings in "My Ipod Touch"
The 'sync podcasts' checkbox under "Podcasts" tab is checked. I have the "automatically include" button checked with these settings:
"Automatically include "All unplayed episodes" of "All podcasts." (And yes the podcasts I'm having trouble with are unplayed)
Under Library>Podcasts
Settings:
Check for new episodes "Everyday"
*All podcasts are set to the default settings.*
Default settings:
When new episodes are available "Download All"
Episodes to keep "all unplayed episodes"
Again, all the settings for all the podcasts are the same, however some do not go to my ipod.
Do I convert ID3 tags or create AAC version of these nonsyncing podcasts to solve the issue?
There is no "Weird little icon" next to them. One of the podcasts i JUST subscribed to early this morning and they arent syncing. So its not that I don't watch them.

this is a new feature in itunes that i REALLY hate, but when you dont listen to a podcast for like 2 days, it stops syncing them automatically. just go into your podcasts folder, then go into list view. next to the podcasts that dont sync, there should be a wierd little icon. click that and all will be explained.
