Hi, I would be visiting Bandung in March?
There is a prediction that a quake is likely to take place then.
I would like to know how far is Sunda Strait from Bandung and would Bandung/Jakarta be in danger of tsunami or quake if Sunda Strait is affected?

It depends on the size of the quake. Tsunamis need two things to happen: (a)quake occurs in the ocean and (b) generally has to be above a 7.5 to create a major tsunami.
Bandung wouldn't be at risk of a tsunami because it is far enough inland (see map: http://travel.nationalgeographic.com/travel/countr... Jakarta would be at risk as it is a coastal city.
