does anyone have a pet bird for their cats?
I'd like to get my cats a pet bird for the winter months because they miss the birds in the trees very much. is there a breed that is friendlier with cats than others?

I did this where I bought a pet for my pet. I bought my cat a fish. He watched it for one week and then wanted nothing to do with it. Then I was stuck with cleaning, feeding and caring for something I didn't want. Birds live a long time. I would really think this over. Maybe get a dvd with all birds or a bird feeder for outside so your cat watch birds that do not fly south for the winter.
