Open with on programs? Computer virus!?
No matter what I open even programs my computer asks me what to open it with such as virus scan, IE, AIM, Firefox. These are programs and therefore need no program to open them. I tried to restart it in safemode and I lose my wireless internet and still get the proxy for open with and thus can not run my virus scan. I can get on the internet still if not in safe mode but not on AIM and can't open virus scan. Need help BAD! My copmuter is freaing out and I have no idea whats going on its been this way for over a week, ran malware and got nothing as I can open that but not sophos antivirus.
I can't do a system restore, it still asks which program to open woth and even if i use system restore as the program to open system restore i get an error message. I have no idea what happened I made no changes to my computer that I know so it has to be a virus I would guess but I may be wrong.

IN safe mode try a system restore to an earlier time.in safe mode choose last known good working also.

if you can get a copy of COMBO FIX, put it on a USB stick from another PC and run it from the usb or PC drive, what malwarebytes did not find, it will. run it in normal mode so it can see processes and services running.
