How did I get credit for best answer for an answer I never provided?
I received an email from yahoo answers crediting me with a "best answer". Problem is, I never provided a response (and certainly did not agree with the answer) to the question.
My question now... If I can be credited with an answer I never provided; can some of my answers be credited to the wrong people??? Is this site really accurate? Fun, yes but, accurate?? Thanks.

If you never answered a question and received BA then this must be a glitch in the system.
I have always found Y!A to be accurate with my scoring.

Even if you don't get chosen as "the best answer" by the asker, other yahoo users can vote at certain levels (4 is it? Mine told me I could at that level anyway) and actually "vote" for the best answer. Thus, even if the asker didn't choose you, other users can vote your answer as the best one and you get chosen that way :)
