Are there any decent books on caddying?

Are there any good books on methods that professional caddies use while looping? I caddy every summer but I want to get better, faster. Any help is appreciated.

The axiom "show up, keep up, and shut up" still holds true. Some other rules:

-Know the course especially if you get a lot of players unfamiliar with it. Be a better option than a Skycaddie or a GPS.

-If you're working at a resort, introduce yourself...ask if I've played here before and make a "I'm here to help" comment.

-Obviously being able to carry a bag and keep up is paramount.

-Offer an opinion if asked, but if you don't know my game, don't tell me it's "X" club when you have no idea how I hit that particular club.

-Be exact with yardages...do NOT tell me "it's about 180 to the front and maybe 190 to the center"...I hate this. "It's 170 to carry the hazard, 175 to the front of the green, 182 to the hole and the green slopes severely front to back..."

-When it's determined my ball is on the green, hand me my putter.

-If you're dealing with regulars who know the course just tend the flag.

-Appearance counts...do not show up looking like you slept in your clothes.

-Turn your cell phone off and forget about the damn thing until we're done.

-What gets said on the course stays on the course.

    Watch "Caddyshack"

    Greatest movie ever!!!

But really, just try to make the golfer happy.

if he doesn't ***** about you being slow, not good, or anything, then you are doing good.

You can also keep practicing by carrying it up at my home course, its all up hill, and make you stronger.
