HELP! I overanalyze EVERYTHING!?

OK, I over analyze A LOT. TAke today, for instance. See, in my science class, the teacher has no control, and its very small and no one really pays attention. I was kinda, like, tired and sleepy and dreamy ad such, and some kid rasies his hand and is all "Why is everything scientific so perfect?" and I go "Because God deosnt roll dice. Nature is beautiful!" no one really cared, but now I think I sounded like an idiot, and I've been thinking about it nonstop since. Or, I think about a math problem so much, I lose the meaning and I get it wrong. Its awful. Please help? Mostly I overanalyze things I say and do, for fear of what otehrs think of it.

Its good that you realize it, and you have to tell your self to stop, and not keep going down that road over and over.

I would do a career in Forensics's, counseling, law enforcement, and make the most of this never ending thoughts. Its a gift use it to help others.

Overanalyzing things may mean you are a perfectionist, and there is nothing wrong with that. I know someone who can't go to sleep because he is too busy thinking things over and over and over again, with my support he worries less, but this is the way he is and i love him for it. There is nothing wrong with you. Maybe just try to put things into perspective and realise that everyone isn't worrying about things like what you blurted out in class, they would have found someone else to talk about by the time class finished. That's just human nature. Chill out, worry less!

I overanalyze EVERYTHING. I mean EVERYTHING. You won't stop because its part of who you are. But if you want to slow it down, you should just take seconds to focus on your breathing, or focus on a specific object or event that is taking place at that moment. I think overanalyzation is probably a symptom of anxiety or vice versa. I dont really know but i know theyre related.
