power steering problems?
i have just installed a new power steering pump on a 2001 honda accord. but the fluid is not circulating and overflowing back out of the reservoir. steering is stiff. drained and flushed the system but no change. any suggestions

you have to open one of the lines back up on the rack unit and bleed the air from it other wise its just pimping air around in the rack unit,that's all that needs to be done to it to get it to work right again,good luck on it.

yes do what dodge man said and bleed the system to get the air out, usually turning the wheels all the way one way then all the way the other should bleed the system on most cars. after you turn the wheels then take the cap off the steering pump, there should be a psssst... or something to that effect.
