I Also feel as if im failing GYM. Bcuz i never bring clothes...
I am very un-organized, i have 2 binders...1 for 1st and 2nd Pd. and 1 more 3rd and 4th and 10th.
I had papers everywhere in there. They give us this planner wich is a bunch of peices of paper together in a "book" I got in a habit of stuffing all the papers in there after class ends. So i eventually kept droping it and losing papers everywhere, so I got my first F of my whole life...and told my mother so we both decided to get me a new binder a bigger one and one that isnt broken(My old one was) So i now have
1 New Nice Organized binder.
1:Old messy binder.
1:Planner with only like 7 papers in it now.
When i dont want to do homework i say to myself "well its just 1 time wont do much!" Well everytime i say that..So it turns out i have like ttoalt of 2 HW assignments actually finished in the past 9 weeks or somthing. I often check through my planner and stuff for just papers i used for working out problems and just throw them out...
Well. I have a tough math teacher who made 3 girls cry because hwe failed them today and 1 guy stormed out all mad. Everyone failed out test worth 45pts. So i dont do my homework basicly and in english that D is because of not doing homework...And not taking reading tests on books i read.
------------Get ready to hate on me Haters...---------------------
I come home and get on facebook then if im done with that i play Xbox and then i do boring unusual stuff surfing the web...Then eat dinner and sleep. I decide to do my Homework at say...1:00 AM.
but end up falling asleep. I cant have two average Failing grades.
My mother is rather dissapointed. And i feel bad and really want to improve it, They won't give me extra credit but...i found like 9 papers that are uncomplete and wayy late. And did all of them. Front and back. And was wondering if i should take them in and offer it for a small raise of my grade...
Now when i say i have an F its not like 61% Almost a D- Its like 48-54%
I understand what we are dooing anf i get the material...but see-Just a lack of participation in and out of class...I show no effort even though i can. I cant help it!! I need ADVICe and alot of it. what helps a huge mess get organized and get somone to do his homework...Like i want to force myself to do it right after school...Mid-Term-Grade reports come out in 3 days and i am expected to get at least 2 F's. My mother says she will take my computer/cell phone/xbox/TV if i get 1! I am fine with that because it will help me! But i dont want to handle her yelling and all...
So basicly i need to improve my grades...
I need help!

When I read that you're new to the high school life style, then I knew why you're failing. At your age, you are too much into having fun...and nothing is wrong with that. I'm sure a lot of people your age are on the same boat as you. What I recommend doing is setting up a study schedule. Take a nap after school...maybe two to three hours? Then tell yourself that you're not going to do your homework but you'll study a little bit in case there is a pop quiz the next day or something because quizzes and tests are worth more than HW anyway. While you're studying, you're going to end up doing your homework. It's like you're lying to yourself but you're gonna do it without realizing it until everything is done. For example, when I don't want to study, I give in and tell myself that maybe I'll study for 30mins but I actually end up sitting there a lot longer. I know this sounds stupid but it works. Another tip, unplug your XBOX and put it away somewhere. It's better to ground yourself than to let your mom yell at you and ground you. Hope that helped!

Dude,
Look, I'm a school teacher. I have a reputation for taking some of the toughest, "I hate school." kids and turning them into A/B students.
That's because I get it...I'm super smart, but have attention deficit disorder. You sound just like me. I know you're going to get a lot of comments like, "Suck it up; do the work. Quit slacking." If those comments helped, you wouldn't be in this predicament.
And to be honest, if you didn't give a damn, you wouldn't be writing us.
Check out the link below. Seriously, check it out. It speaks about the one thing EVER to be shown to increase IQ. I have no link to this article, but use it in class ALL THE TIME to motivate students and parents.
One thing that really helps my students is to know how the brain works, tricks to WAKE IT UP, and to know that we all struggle. No one is born just knowing everything. Read the studies, those "naturally gifted (ie smart) kids" got that way from hard work...be it their own or their parents when they were extremely small. There is no "magic pill" that will take away all the hard work. But, read the article and give it a try. It might make things easier.

C- is okay for some school, it depends what degree you are pursuing to. If you are pursuing a degree of pharmacy or nursing, that's not a very good grade. You have to be careful it won't go below that, it's almost D. D is still passing but based as what I heard, you will be dismissed from the department if your degree is one of these: chemistry, nursing, pharmacy, or physical therapy. Also, the grading policy should be stated in the student handbook of your school. GOOD LUCK!!!
