BAND GEEKS AND MUSIC MAJORS!?

So Im thinking about adding another instrument. I currently play clarinet, and My band director says I "Excel musically on a daily basis" So I can learn quickly. I want to add the trumpet, but I'm concerned about the switch from a woodwind's embouchure to a brass's embouchure. Will this be a tough transition, especially if I'm going to be playing both for the same band?

*also, a quick description of how a trumpet is played would be cool. I know the basics, but if you could give me some person

If you play clarinet you can learn flute easily. I'm not too sure about how to play a trumpet but it is hard to switch from woodwind to brass. I played trombone for a couple months in school and than switched to clarinet which was way easier. Brass instruments are hard to get used to.
