Expresscard vs microSD speed comparison?
Is an Expresscard SSD faster than a microSD flash card?
I am looking in the 8GB range if you think that matters.
Just for clarification, I am talking about class 6 microSD.
In case you are wondering what I would use it for, Vista Readyboost and/or fast backup.
And yes, I do know that microSD 8gb class 6 is usually half the price of expresscard SSD 8gb, that is why I want to know if there is any reason to buy expresscard over microSD.
No guessing please, your answer may influence my purchase.

The interface that they use will usually matter. Expresscard SSD uses Expresscard (1.2) interface that has a bandwidth of 2500 Mb/s. Micro SD and other memory cards usually use the USB 2.0 interface that has a maximum bandwidth of 480Mb/s.
Generally, anything that uses the Expresscard interface is faster than any of the other ports in the PC.
