    In the Jewish tradition, we learn that that phrase means we take the value of the lost item. We do not charge the value of an arm for an eye, nor do we expect the payment of a life for the loss of an eye. It is about fair value, not about revenge.

    Your clip there is about Muslims hunting Christians..

    The problem isn't "religions" it's that particular one that takes an eye for an eye completely wrong..As it isn't their teaching to begin with..
