What is this literary device - when a name clues you into the character?

You know, when a story has a character whose name tells you something about them. In extreme cases, names like Dudley Doright or Polly Purebread.

Update:

I guess you could call it an allegorical name.

I don't know if there is a specific name for this device, but it seems like there should be.
