important question about nikon D5000 and lenses!?
i am interested in purchasing one of these cameras. i was just wondering if i need to buy a lens to attach to the body of the camera because buying just the body is a lot cheaper than buying the body and the lens. please help!? best answer to the most detailed answer. and include links if possible (: also, if you have bought a nikon before, where is the best place to buy one especially at a reasonable price.

Hey,
A DSLR cannot take pictures without a lens (if you want normal pictures).
Since you are beginner, I recommend you to get the body + kit lens, since it's not so much more expensive. The lens is great for beginners, you will see what you will buy in the future (if).

It's better to get the lens with the camera (kit lens). If you buy them separately, it will be more expensive. I would personally buy the kit lens since the lens that comes with the D5000 would cover most of my basic needs.
