Redken a couple months of the year 'cause my aunt gets it for me for Christmas, but I'm not actually in love with it even though it's a salon brand.

My favourite is Pantene. I use colour care most of the time 'cause I dye my hair with blue and purple streaks and it makes it fade the prettiest and not get muddy or anything, but I love the curl care. You should try their ice shine. And make sure your conditioner isn't too heavy!! It could be waying down your hair.

The other thing I use is a clarifying shampoo once or twice a month. They're the ones that give you the really really deep clean and strip out any product buildup you might have. That might actually really help you. But only use them once or twice a month because otherwise you'll damage your hair. I use use one from Herbal Essences, it's just a cheapie thing, but it works really well and makes my hair really shiny and bouncy and nice the next day.

Also: If you dye your hair, do NOT use baby shampoo. You shouldn't use it for anything except cleaning makeup brushes anyways, but especially if you dye your hair, the dye will be ruined by baby shampoo because it doesn't have the PH balance that dyed hair needs.

A lot of the time, if I've been using the same product for a long time, it starts to weigh down on my hair and make it look quite dull. I always buy a different shampoo and conditioner when the old bottle runs out, instead of sticking to the same brand. My favourites:

Dove - smells gorgeous, makes your hair feel really light and soft

    Tresemme

    VO5

Asda's own brand henna shampoo - ideal for dark hair and smells beautiful

    Johnsons baby shampoo

To stop your hair from looking dull, buy a clarifying treatment from somewhere like Sally's, or Pantene's clarifying shampoo. If you do that once a week, it'll rinse off all the buildup that makes your hair look dull :)

I use John Frieda Blonde shampoo but there are ones for brunettes, it makes my hair feel really soft. I've used Herbal essences Hello Hydration which is great for adding moisture to your hair. Also the Schwarzkopf Supersoft range is good and not expensive at all, they have a cocount one I think it is which makes your feel lovely and soft too!

The thing is about adverts though, they are decieving because they use so many lights and special effects to make the model's hair look really shiny and they have propably not only used the shampoo they are advertising but also a serum and have had it professionally blow dried etc to make it look even better.

for only a shampoo, a dollar or 2, possibly $3 at wonderful salons, you need to continuously tip the shampoo lady in the adventure that they don't provide her a 'reduce' of the stylist's tips. i ought to examine with the institution if shampoo women are also allowed to recieve tips earlier you try this. u can ask once you're making your appt over the phone to dodge an ungainly face-to-face encounter.

i use either Aussie Colour mate, or Aussie Mega isntant

they make lots of different ones for different hair types, they make one called Aussie Lushiously long for people with long hair, i think it makes hair more shiney.

you can get it like in any supermarket. its like £4 per bottle but tesco & sainsburys alway have deals.

tesco is usually 2 for £5 and sainsburys is 2 for £6

my mum uses herbal essences in a blue bottle, smells like coconut, makes your hair really really nice, she also has really long dark hair x
