I think there might be a bit of "terminology confusion" here, the London Pass is for entrance to attractions, it's a bit of a rip-off as you have to rush around attractions to try and make it pay (don't forget that most museums are free). The travelcard is for the tube/buses and DLR, you will need this (or an Oystercard) to use the public transport in London. If staying in London...the London pass is the best! The most you will have to walk is maybe a block or two to find a tube and if i remember right it covers buses also...
