I think there might be a bit of "terminology confusion" here, the London Pass is for entrance to attractions, it's a bit of a rip-off as you have to rush around attractions to try and make it pay (don't forget that most museums are free). The travelcard is for the tube/buses and DLR, you will need this (or an Oystercard) to use the public transport in London. The 2-4-1 offers with the travelcard are much better that the London Pass: http://www.daysoutguide.co.uk/

If staying in London...the London pass is the best! The most you will have to walk is maybe a block or two to find a tube and if i remember right it covers buses also...
