making cookies (spritz cookies)?

I want to make spritz cookies but i dont want 7-8 dozen of em! If i reduce the amount of everything in half, will i use only half an egg? or do i use a full egg no matter what?

    Spritz dough freezes well so you could make a full recipe then freeze half of it.

    Scramble up the egg then measure out half of it or use a full egg and omit some of the other liquid in the recipe. If there is no other liquid a bit more egg is not going to make that much difference. I am sure when following the recipe some people use medium size eggs and others use jumbo or extra large so a little bit more egg will not matter much.

    Buy small eggs when you want to use half a recipe.

    Or you can buy Eggbeaters it will work best for measuring. Measure the amount for a whole egg and divide that in half.

    You also can use a inexpensive piping bag from a kitchen ware store even a Ziploc bag with the corner cut out then press gently with a fork
