im protestant i think that the pope is unnecessary and offensive to my religion, many catholics go to the pope for answers rather than a god and almost see him as an idol he is human just as the rest of us

This is one of the reasons im in the polls section. Because too much negativity in the R&S section. Plus my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ insult each other with false accusations instead of living Jesus' commandment. LOVE thy neighbor.
By the way, Catholics do not worship the Pope. I ask God for all of my guidance.
And if you are protestant, how do you know how Catholics see the pope?
Im Catholic, but I do not like when fellow Christians try to one up on eachother. We are a family. ONE family in Christ. Regardless of tradition, we need to LOVE one another, and let God do the judging.
