Has anybody ever been able to get a liberal or socialist to admit they were wrong?

I've run circle around them in debate, shot down every lame argument they have, and left them stammering "Bush lied"... but not once have they ever admitted they were whooped. Has anyone heard them say they were wrong?

Update:

Absolutely not, I'm begging for a viable explanation, I'm trying as hard as I can to understand today's liberalism. But not one liberal can tell me HOW it will get better, they just say it WILL get better. Every liberal will tell you how we should continue to over tax the rich, but they have no clue what they will do when there are no more rich to tax. Not one liberal can explain to me how adding 304 million people to the entitlement rolls will be cheaper than providing high risk insurance to 4.7 million people.

Update 2:

Wow, Just, you are one lonely sick person. I'm asking why the supposedly "academics" of this nation are to stupid to realize they are to stupid to run this nation, and you call that crying? All the while, your beloved democrats have a huge majority in both houses and they own the white house, but they can't even push through a simple funding bill due to their ineptness... so they constantly whine about the republicans being obstructionists. Seriously, the liberal democrats have been the party of whine for 45 years.

Update 3:

Yes, Think, you are partially correct. A good debater could run circles around me, but when faced with actual irrefutable truth and facts, the best debater can do nothing but acquiesce. I reckon he can continue making bogus moot points, like Obama is doing, but isn't that when Gores' now famous phrase comes in to play, "this... debate... is... over...".

No. Liberals, in general, lack a sense of personal responsibility. They don't want to be held individually accountable for anything- not for their actions, opinions, and not for their bills...I think they're like a bunch of spoiled teenagers who demand stuff they don't earn-while they run their mouth about "fairness" and "equality" like they've had enough life experience to know meaning of the words.

When they screw up- they expect some one to bail them out- rather then let them face the consequences of their actions.

I suppose all Liberals aren't that way- but many that I have talked to are...they complain about The US like spoiled kids complain about their parents not buying them the newest IPhone or xbox or whatever.

In a debate with an ACTUAL self-proclaimed Socialist

both he and I were forced to concede points to one another.

It's about being good at debate, not which ideology you argue.

A good enough debater could argue Nazism and run circles around you.

Never in "recorded" history. The admission of a mistake is not hard wired in their genes.

it's true, they never do. When they do have to face that their policies have failed or a program went wrong or that their centralized government led to tyranny, they always blame it on the "right"

Save your breath, my friend. When one points out that almost every advance which lead to our modern way of life came to be thanks to the profit motive, socialists and other leftists tend to say, "Well sure, it works in practice, but will it work in theory?"

I don't bother anymore. They're going to believe want they want to; and honor, responsibility and accountability are not comprehensible to them.

Ok Here it is Im fessing up I was wrong I thought Bush was just a bad President but he was far worst than that I stand corrected

I'm sure you think that but just screaming you're a socialist isn't shooting down any argument. I was wrong thinking that there were still some reasonably rational cons left.
