Best resources RE: learning about investing?

I'm looking into putting some money into the market and I'd like to do it myself. Not looking for anything particular just yet, so everything is on the table. Long term, short term, stocks, bonds, options, say trading, etc, etc.

I'm mainly looking for book titles, but if there are some (non-scam) websites that would work too. College level textbooks are fine, I'll work my way up to that. Just show me the most informative, and/or most helpful information you know of.

Thanks

    fundamentals: fool.com

technicals: (which gambler usually prefer): stockcharts.com

options: cboe.com, start up a papertrading account.

if you want a book, you can start with real money by cramer. don't bother with undergrad college textbooks.

If you are looking for long term, read some of John Bogles Books on investing. When you look at short term, reading books isnt going to help you, because different sectors are going to be better investment at different times. For example, if you got a book 4 years ago, it would probably say invest in real estate. If you got on 8 years ago, it would say technology.

I think when you talk about investing, you should mean long term. I know you like to gamble, so if the short term let me be kinda risky, I would watch CNBC and read the Wall Street Journal or Investors Buisness Daily. Get an idea of what sectors are undervalued, learn about certain stocks that are good in the sector and start from there.

You can make money in binary options only if you treat it as a real form of investing. Learn here https://tr.im/ZEqmL

This means learning how it works, learning how to read charts and learning how you can make accurate predictions. All these are not that difficult but it takes some time. If you treat it as gambling and just make random predictions then you will obviously not win.
