Do you like a biscuit or cake with your strawberries?

I am in Tennessee. I love Angel food cake with my strawberries and whipped cream.

I'm with Granny on this one, with angel food cake and whipped cream. Have never heard of eating biscuits with strawberries before. Personally, I think they're best by themselves or dipped in chocolate or peanut butter.

In Texas, the strawberries are so big and sweet and succulent that biscuits and cake just seem gratuitous.

Biscuit is my choice - it has the proper texture - a little crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle - and the neutral, buttery, and lack of sweetness that go with the strawberries - a perfect match.

Cake .... and it has to be a vanilla cake .... similar to pound cake .... not the angel food cake. Angel food cakes tastes like a sponge ....... New Jersey
