How open are most young men to dating a woman with a invisible disability?

I am a 20 year old woman about to graduate from college with my B.A. I am smart, funny, and have a pretty average body. I also was diagnosed with an invisible disability last year. I have a neurological condition that affects my heart. On the surface I appear pretty normal, but I don't live a pretty normal college lifestyle. I mean, sometimes I look pale and tired, and my hair is thinning. To me I don't look great but most people I am not really close to haven't noticed. Because of my heart there are a lot of activities I can't do and I am often exhausted. In the past I have dated, but my last relationship ended because of my illness. I haven't had any luck meeting anyone lately and have had several men that were previously interested lose interest when I disclosed my disability to them. I can't stand for long periods of time, can't lift anything, can't do stairs, can't drink caffeine or alcohol, and I get stupid or pass out if I push myself too hard. Because there is always a risk of me passing out I have to tell people I date about it so they don't do something that is potentially dangerous to me. Would this be a big problem for you?

Disability or NOT i think a BIG part of loving someone and being with someone is learned to accept them for who they are through the good and the bad. I think that you sound like a great person!! Very focous and smart etc. Whoever wants to be with u will need to love you and accpet u for who u are with all ur flaws and virtues including ur disability .... and the truth is that if someone really does love u they will love all of u !! =)

not at all darlin. there are problems in any relationship but the relationship is what matters, not the problems within it. it doesn't matter about the illness, you still sound like a very bright girl and you are successful and very deserving of love and yeah. you'll find someone who really loves you, and I'm sure he'll be very hospitable to his gal to, boyfriends/girlfriends who pamper their lovers are amazing =D I'd bring you hot cocoa and massage your feet if I was yours ^.^

If I really really ended up liking you I'd get over it, and if we ever broke up it'd be for a legit reason not because of that

When you find love, it endures all

absolutely not ! you are probably just as beautiful as everyother woman in this world.

Source(s): That is awful how could people be so mean and rude to another especially for this, If I were dating you you would'nt have to walk any stairs!!
