How much will insurance cost on a 1973 Dodge Challenger?
I am looking to buy one and its going to be under my parents name so I was just wondering if anyone can give me an estimate. Thanks!
My parents use Geico and we they have 2 cars under their name if that helps.

if you want it protected for the full value of it ,you,ll have to put antique insurance on it,every day car insurance wont pay off the full value of the car,and with antique insurance your limited as to how many miles you can drive it,it would cost about 3-400 a year for antique as opposed to about 600 every 6 months for regular insurance on it,and with regular insurance you,ll loose money if it ever gets wrecked, good luck.

Theres no way youre even going to find an accurate guess on here. You have to look it up through the company you're ensuring it with. Rates are different, EXTREMELY different (as in higher) if you have a penis. then with a big engine, and on regular (non antique) insurance, you're looking at A LOT
$800? In your dreams. Insurance as a driver is $50 a month and my 2.0L Eclipse GS costs $30 a month, which is $960 a year on my parents policy (makes it cheaper). You're looking at like thousands per year as a daily driven car.
Antiques can be driven twice a week which is cheaper but still not that great.
